This week on the farm:
- Dayton VA Farmers Market (Tue. 11am-3pm): Beautiful weather (even if it was a little chilly). We sold: Dinosaur Kale, White Russian Kale, Broccoli Greens, Collard Greens, Spring Onions, Applemint, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Banana Bread.
- Trotwood Community Market (Sat. 9am-3pm): We plan to sell:
- Dinosaur Kale
- White Russian Kale
- Broccoli Greens
- Collard Greens
- Green Beans
- Early Onions
- Applemint
- Peppermint
- Oregano
- Sage
- French Tarragon
- Bee Balm
- Conditions on the farm:
- Things are coming along nicely as far as we can tell. Corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers among other produce are all growing and maturing
- Blackberries are maturing and look bountiful.
- Some of the newly planted herbs are flourishing.
